SUPER CLEAN WINS GOVERNMENT CONTRACT TO CLEAN FIREFIGHTER'S GEAR
October 2007
The U.S. Air Force at Edwards Air Force Base awarded a one-year contract to Super Clean for the cleaning of its firefighting gear. Given the number of fires that have already devastated Southern California in the last few weeks, Super Clean is expecting to become very busy in cleaning turnout gear for fire stations heavily involved in fighting the wildfires.
Super Clean's cleaning process meets National Fire Protection Association requirements for the cleaning of fire equipment, which include certain standards for pH levels, temperature, and cleaning agents.
"With the U.S. Air Force as a client, the sky is really the limit," Andy Selinger, co-owner of Super Clean, stated. "We've been cleaning fire gear for individual firefighters over the past year and they've loved the results. With this contract we look forward to working with more fire departments as part of their maintenance programs. We anticipate being very busy over the next few weeks restoring the gear that departments have used over the past few weeks fighting the wildfires."
