SUPER CLEAN'S OZONE PROCESS
Super Clean offers ozone technology using the patented Sports-O-Zone treatment process.
The ozone process takes only 15 minutes and kills the bacteria living on your equipment, thus eliminating that nasty smell emanating from your gear. We load your gear into the Sports-O-Zone machine, close the door and run the cycle. The machine emits ozone, a naturally occurring gas, which circulates around your equipment, killing bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Once the cycle is complete, your equipment is returned to you bacteria-free and smelling a lot better than when you gave it to us. The process does not involve water so your gear does not need time to dry.
The ozone process is proven to kill 99% of the bacteria living on your equipment. In fact, ozone is a stronger disinfectant than hydrogen peroxide, bleach and iodine!
As part of a total hygiene program, Super Clean recommends getting ozone cleanings done in between the more thorough wet washings to keep bacteria at a safe level and to eliminate the smell. By making ozone a regular part of your overall hygiene program, you will greatly reduce your risk of contracting staph infections and MRSA.
Below is a general cleaning guideline, but you may wish to do more frequent cleanings based on the individual and type of equipment.
