Well, then it's time to send these items to Super Clean for a thorough cleaning. Super Clean is a professional cleaning service that eliminates harmful bacteria, mold, fungus and other contaminants from all types of costumes, soft goods, recreational gear, insurance restoration items and sports equipment. Super Clean uses two cleaning processes to disinfect your costume and remove the smell: a revolutionary, patented wet wash system and a patented ozone process.
The wet wash system uses specially formulated cleaning solvents to destroy pathogens living inside the fibers and padding of all types of costumes. Spraying the costume with a deodorizer or mist only masks the odor and is not enough to kill the underlying bacteria responsible for the smell. The machine we use also is unique in that it has a low agitation level, so the integrity of your costume or mascot uniform stays intact. And what is not able to be washed with water (such as cardboard) can be safely put inside our ozone machine. Ozone is a naturally occurring gas that is a more powerful disinfectant than bleach, hydrogen peroxide or iodine. Using either or both of these processes to clean your hard-to-clean costumes will ensure that you can wear your costume with confidence that it is truly clean and that you are protected from dangerous infection and annoying skin rashes.
Super Clean knows that there are a wide variety of costumes made out of every kind of material you can imagine. Our processes are safe on many different textiles and plastics. What cannot be used in our wet wash machine most likely can be sanitized by our ozone machine. So we can disinfect just about anything!
Also, for those of you who live outside of the Southern California area and need this type of service, you can send us your costumes and we will sanitize them and deliver them back to you. Standard delivery costs apply.
