NCAA Football Rules Committee Recommends Cleaning Equipment to Protect Against MRSA
The 2007 NCAA Football Rules Committee recognized that MRSA is a significant problem in high school, college and professional football and, in response to a presentation by the National Athletic Trainers Association, has recommended properly washing athletic gear, among other precautions, to protect against MRSA infections.
